Upcoming Events

The Association of Building Compliance have regularly scheduled member meetings to enable general networking and education between members. These meetings are currently held in Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington and Christchurch.

All fully paid up members that attend these meetings will receive an attendance certificate to show continued professional development. The Association welcomes new people and invites those interested in becoming members to attend one member meeting to gauge their interest. Should they wish to attend further ABC member meetings then they will be required to join the Association.

The topic of this session will be SS2 Emergency Warning Systems: Inspection and Maintenance and will be presented by Richard Goodsell. Richard will look into the details of the inspection, maintenance and reporting requirements for SS2 Emergency Warning, including a detailed look at fire protection system types from Type 1 to Type 7 systems.  There will be an open discussion on alterations to a specified system and when they require building consent or a Schedule One Exemption application with Councils.
