Reducing the risk of fire and smoke spread in a building ks key to protecting life  and reducing economic loss.

Correctly designed, cooordinated and installed and inspected, passive fire systems are paramount for our populations wellbeing as well as providing trust and confidence int he construction industry.

Unfortunately, we have struggled to achieve compliant passive fire protection in many of our new build projects and then maintain compliant passive fire protection in existing buildings with the life cycle refurbishments that occur over time.

This one day seminar aims to outline the issues of passive fire non-compliance and most importantly to hear from our expert speakers what can be done to improve the situation.

We will seek your feedback on what should be done going forward, given the current risk and where do we start.

Some have said that passive fire needs to become a specific qualified trade and that stricter construction monitoring should be required, however, this will take time and may cost the construction industry money when prices are already running away on some projects.  This seminar is going to debate that view.

This seminar provides an ideal opportunity for you to network with your counterparts in the fire protection and construction industry.
